Artha Bed and Breakfast

Artha sits on a lush 90 acre plot with rolling hills of wooded land and open fields.  Spend some time in the pristine wilderness of Wisconsin.  Just 10 minutes from the beautiful Chain of Lakes in Waupaca, guests have access to many wonderful out door activities.  A 30 minute drive to downtown Stevens Point and just 10 minutes south of Amherst, Artha sits in the heart of central Wisconsin.  Come, relax and enjoy this sustainable oasis. Have a family reunion or come to one of our many workshops and retreats held year round.

We have high speed wireless internet available.

Our Complimentary Gourmet Breakfasts are served each morning. We use local organic eggs, and other organic or pesticide free veggies (often from our garden) for our breakfasts whenever possible. If you have special dietary needs, just let us know and we will do our best to serve you.

There are organic fair trade coffee, cocoa and tea selections, candies, popcorn and other treats available throughout the day for your pleasure.

Our kitchen is available for your use, if you would like to bring food for lunches and dinners you can prepare your meals in our fully equipped kitchen. Or use the gas grill, located on the deck. A great way to enjoy country living at it's best.

Artha is the place to stay if you are afflicted by chemical sensitivities, we use no VOC paint, no wall to wall carpeting and natural cleaning and laundering products.

Create Your Own Retreat! Come for the weekend or a week, pick from the list of many fun activities and we will help you create and unforgettable vacation.  Bring your family or friends, you can also rent the studio space, gazebo and grounds.

Sarah Ludemann, or other local Licensed Massage Therapist

Since 1986, Sarah has been adding modalities and applying them as needed with her  clients.  Over time, that has included Swedish, Esalen, Triggerpoint, Deep Body Work, Sports Massage, Healing Touch, Reichi, and Myafascia Release.  She began her training at the Oasis Center for Human Potential in Chicago and has  practiced at Fitness Centers, Chiropractic offices, the Midwest Renewable Energy Fair, the National Wellness Conference among many .  Presently, she is working out of her studio in her home.  

Sarah or one of our other massage therapists will be looking forward to meeting you and offering you a full body massage with your concerns addressed.

We've had a wonderful stay! The most beautiful fall weather, extensive hiking treils,a and delicious food...
